David E. Ebbecke, PT, DPT, MBA, OCS

Physical Therapist
President and Owner

Since 1997, David has been helping individuals in Prince William County overcome pain and disability.  Following in the footsteps of his friend and mentor, David S. Mizener, David took ownership of Piedmont Physical Therapy, Inc. (formerly Mizener, Ebbecke & Associates) in 2009, and continues to see patients in the clinic daily.

David had his sights set on a career in the healthcare field from a young age.  He chose physical therapy after witnessing the positive impact it had on his father who was suffering from a painful shoulder injury.

Drawing from an extensive background in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, David integrates his skills as a manual therapist and exercise specialist to assist patients in living a life without pain and reliance on pain medication.  He has published numerous articles on managing and avoiding common musculoskeletal injuries.

  • Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from Shenandoah University in 1996.
  • Certification in Manual Therapy (MTC) from The University of St. Augustine in 2001.

Jessica L. W. Beech, PT, DPT, ATC

Physical Therapist

Jessica earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2002, and has continually practiced physical therapy in outpatient orthopedic settings. Jessica joined our practice in 2004 and has been an important part of the team as we expanded and moved offices in 2013.

Jessica continues to develop specialized skills in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and evaluation techniques through postgraduate education courses.  She enjoys working closely with patients to problem solve and find the best treatment protocol for each case.

In addition, Jessica started our aquatic physical therapy program in 2014 in partnership with Central Park Aquatics Center in Manassas, VA. She enjoys the freedom that water based physical therapy offers her patients to perform exercises that increase strength, mobility and function while decreasing the load through the body’s joints. The support that water offers patients will often decrease sensations of pain during therapy, while increasing therapeutic benefits.

Jessica’s Credentials & Practice Experience:

  • Bachelors of Science in Health Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training from Slippery Rock University in 1999.
  • Certified Athletic Trainer in 1999.

Lynne Marsh

Receptionist

Lynne was introduced to Piedmont Physical Therapy when she was a caregiver to a woman who was a patient of the facility.  She was thrilled with the care and humor of the facility so much that when she had her first knee replaced, she automatically thought of Piedmont.

When she came back 10 months later, after her second knee replacement, the care and the ambiance was still the same so she took a chance and asked if they were hiring in the office.  Having worked at a couple medical offices and a DME office, she felt that she could be of some help to the office. Thankfully, it feels like a great fit.

Lynne enjoys several hobbies to occupy her free time such as walking/hiking (now that she has new knees) biking, reading, sewing and various handwork.  She also LOVES to spend time with her adult children and their families who, thankfully, live close by.  She and her husband Russ also re-enact the Civil War era.  They share their home with their Calico cat, Mac.
